I take my eyes off the calendar for two seconds and a whole weeks slips by…

This faken Spanish heat doesn’t allow me to think with a clear head, and not having air conditioning at home doesn’t make things any easier. I sweat like fak and focus more on staying focused than the actual work in front of me. I stare at the screen but actually don’t take anything in. I see but I don’t observe, so I have to read everything all over again. It’s annoying at best.

Anyway, enough bitching. Gotta get going and get stuff done. Good stuff happens too, like one of my best friend’s birthday party at The Hoxton hotel’s rooftop. Amazing views, music and people. We had a blast celebrating her birthday! Met some cool people along the way, as always whenever I hang out with her and coincide with her friends. It’s having people like her around.

In regards to work, aside from the faken heat I mentioned earlier, it has been quite difficult with any of the tasks I had at hand. Doesn’t matter which one I’ve got in front of me, I’ll always be thinking about the rest of them. A serious look at organizing projects should be taken. Gotta do things right and stop wasting mental energy on “parallel overthinking”. Do you guys like that term? I just made it up haha.

Alrite, ‘nough of this. Back to work and making the rest of what’s left of Friday somewhat productive.
