Almost 2 months since the last entry. Plenty of time for plenty of things to happen!

Since my last 5 minute journal post I’ve moved back to Barcelona (for vacations), went to VOMA’s military training, met many like-minded people there, partied hard with them, got some work done, went to work at my cousin’s company for a few days as part of a job interview, and many more things.

I’ll dedicate a couple more in-depth posts to a few of the topics I mentioned previously. For now I’ll keep it short, sweet and to the point. All I want for now is to publish a journal entry so that I can take this huge load off my head.

Moving forward (I know I’ve repeated this ad nauseam already) I’ll try to write more often, preferably daily.

New week, new Monday, of new month. Starting the day by sleeping relatively on time (going by my standards ๐Ÿ˜น) and waking up early before 8AM. Grabbed me a properly made coffee, took my time waking up with a nice gata and jumped on the tasks at hand. Already got a few out of the way and feeling refreshed.

It’s good taking on tasks sooner than later instead of letting them build up in my head and drain my brain energy.

Anyho’, talked with some friends and family, offering help and asking for some too. I’m currently looking for an appartment in or near the center of Yerevan so I can be closer to work and the boxing gym. Another reason I’d like to be closer to the city center is to go for walks when feeling like it, be close to events that might be happening, meet up with friends more frequently, etc.

Living on the outskirts is good for some things, but not so good for others.

In any case, got some work in front of me for today aside from the boxing training later tonight.

See ya.

It sure doesn’t feel like 3 months have gone past by, but yet here wer are; at the start of April of 2022. I’m still not as fully committed to my daily tasks for the long-term goals. The end goals are clear as water in my head, but the actual steps to get there aren’t. I spend too much time and energy just thinking about how I “might” go about the tasks rather than specifying and zooming in into proper doable tasks.

Writing about this constant nagging I’ve got going in my head kinda does help relieving the stress it produces. It’s a constant nag, even when working, that constantly makes me think that I’m not working on something that I should be working on, or that I’m not working properly on the tasks, or that I’m forgetting something, or that I should plan before doing anything, or, or, or…

It’s pretty tiring. And it doesn’t help that I’ve got real life problems to take care of too at the same time. Someone’s gotta pay the bills, take care of his body, look for a wifu, enlist in the voluntary military sel-defense training camp, work on personal-projects, work on the long-term Aybuben project, properly set up my own business, get the business going, etc.

Ufff… anyhow… that’s what’s up. I’m looking into getting organized and use some task manager to order my to-do’s and get to them on a timely manner and without constant worry of not doing it properly or in the right order.

That was a long way of explaining how I’ve been waking up every day these last few years. Constantly worrying.

Enough bitching though, time to work!

Time flies by… It’s already March. And March 8th at that. International women’s day. Gotta congratulate mom and auntie.

Today woke up to a couple more invoices and what not. Not the best way for waking up I guess. Gotta change the waking up ritual otherwise I’ll just set myself up for a bad day before I even get out of the bed.

In any case, Happy International Women’s Day! May may female readers get loads of flowers, chocolate and presents!

Back to business, back to work!

Woke up after sleeping some 7-8 hours approx., but decided to sleep in for a bit because of not feeling well rested. At first felt a bit thirsty and dry mouth.

When I woke up I did a mental walkthrough of the work ahead of me and kinda felt tired having to take on all the tasks. It also felt like pointless if for any reason I were to die and my work left uncompleted, so I decided to keep on working and all the while with a backup system in place to make sure others can pick up at where I checked out.

Another thing I first thought about was my relationships with other people. My friends, family and particularly during these weeks the search of a wife. Time and effort has to be put in to create and nurture those relationships. If not they’ll just fade out.

In any case, work is to be done and tonight gotta go to boxing training, so better start now.

Wow! It has been a month since I finally moved back to my motherland, Armenia!

During my last couple weeks in Armenia, and after I went back to Spain, we reached an agreement with my uncle to buy off his half of the house he was sharing with my father. Now this house is where I’m staying after moving back and it’s probably going to be the house I’ll be living at for the next few years until we decide to tear it down and construct a proper house in it’s place. Until then I’ll happily live here and start forming a family ASAP.

Regarding that matter, I’ve been searching on online dating apps and so far came across several good women. Some of them I could clearly see wouldn’t work out so I stopped the conversations amicably at a good place. There are a couple of women I do continue talking with, but haven’t met yet in person. Hopefully they can either find the time or come to Yerevan so we can meet face to face, because online dating apps are cool and all, but nothing beats in-person dates to getting to know each other. Let’s see how this one progresses.

The food, drinks and environment so far have been great for me! I feel like finally being in the perfect place for my body! In Spain these last few years had gradually been taking a heavier toll on my body and I felt sickish for the most part. All of that has since been gone. I feel better than ever! This week started retaking boxing classes to get my body moving too, because this last month, although the food being very good, was still starting to affect me by putting on a bit of weight. Before I start rolling down the street I decided to properly take care of my body by exercising regularly.

Work-wise, I’ve been continuing with sites support for my existing clients and restarted working with a previous client. The amount and level of work is still nowhere I’d like it to be, but surely and steadily moving towards it. I need to save up some fuck-you money and have some cash on me to buy the things I need.

After work, almost every day, I like to take a 15 minute walk to my favorite restaurant. They have amazing home-made dishes! It feels like I’m being taken care of with love when I put that food in my mouth ๐Ÿค—! Even though this week I bought a gas stove I’ll still be going to this restaurant regularly. It’s a nice thing to get out of the house for a little while to get away from the same four walls I stare at most of the days.

Until now, once every week, I’ve also been walking around the whole city for hours on end like a tourist, observing and admiring the architecture and the people of my hometown! It’s a delightful experience! I try to avoid walking the same street twice, always looking for detour so I can wander and explore more. It also served as a way to take my mind off from other stuff.

For a more detailed post about my move back to my Motherland I’ll write and publish and article shortly.

January 19th, second and last day of passing through Athens to get to my final destination, Yerevan!

After saying my goodbyes to the people closest to me with a dinner and with a few last minute visits, and also a suprise visit from two good friends who came over the weekend travelling from their countries, I continued preparing my travel bags until the very last minutre at 4AM in the morning. Printed out the documents I’d need for travelling and went on my way to the airport.

After flying and arriving to Athens I quickly went to searching for a place to stay at. I found a hostal with good reviews called Athens Hawk Hostel on Hostelworld. I took the bus from the airport to the city center. After getting my first bag off from the bus I tried getting back in to take out the other two, but the bus driver closed the doors and started driving off! ๐Ÿ˜น I banged on the bus for him to stop, which he luckily did, got my two last bags out and took a taxi straight to the hostel.

I’ve got to say, my first impressions of Greece were that it looked awfully a lot like Spain! It looked like a combination of Spain and Armenia. 80% Spanish looks (buildings, streets, etc.) and 20% Armenian (people and some of the buildings looking uncared).

Upon arrival I was greeted by a very nice woman working at the desk of the hostel. She was very helpful with my accomodation and giving recommendations for places to visit while in Athens. I left my stuff in my room, walked around the hostel for a bit, checked out it’s cool rooftop and afterwards went to a restaurant tha the woman recommended to me. The food was on point! Reminded me very much of Armenia.

After eating, and with a full belly, somehow I had the genius idea of walking around and checking out the old monuments. I ended up walking all the way to the Acropolis! ๐Ÿ˜น It had always been a dream of mine to visit the place since I first saw photos of Greece in history books! An improvised tourism tour turned into a very nice hike around the Acropolis’ hill. It goes without saying that I took many photos and videos!

After finishing the visit I walked back to my hostel and planned on taking a quick nap of a few hours so that I could go party at the pub crawl of that night. But the quick nap turned into a lenghty sleep from 6PM until 10AM of the next morning ๐Ÿ˜…. I don’t regret it though. The sleep was very much needed because I had been awake for at least 36 hours straight!

The next day, and after waking up at around 10:30AM, I prepared my bags and went down to check out. The hostel offers a free storage room for leaving the bags and comfortably tour the city, so I did just that. Walked through the streets taking photos and videos, and posting them to my social media. I saw a tour bus pass by so I decided to hop on one and drive around the city to see more and see it faster. I realized I should have done that yesterday; touring with the bus and get down at key bus stops for checking out the different tourist spots. I guess it’s a lesson learned for next time.

After touring and buying some snacks I decided to grab a quick bite at some restaurant and to also be able to use the restroom. Ended up going to a rooftop bar/restaurant with nice views of the Acropolis! Ordered french fries and ate in silence while gazing at the monuments, all the while surrounded by a lot of young people who were also enjoying their Wednesday afternoon.

After this quick pause went to the hostel a final time to grab my bags and head to the airport with the same bus line that brought me to the city center. Got to the airport, went through the check-in and finally arrived to my gate. Killed some time by playing with my phone until boarding time came around. Before boarding I got asked whether I would mind sitting in the emergency row, to which I said I didn’t care, because I wouldn’t mind having extra leg space!

Got the extra space row and recorded the take off. With this take off ended my trip at Athens, which overall I would rate a solid 8. Perhaps in summer it will be more lively. I’ll come back for sure!

Wassup everybody? I’ve been away for quite some time, working out hard at the gym, partying during the holidays, catching the covi outbreak, taking this last month very chill and now preparing to move back to Armenia permanently. I plan on coming back for vacations of course, but don’t expect me to move back to Europe for living. Ain’t no way in hell. I’d much rather move to an Asian country. Plenty to pick from.

So here wer are, yet again. Writing in this blog felt like a chore for the longest time. Sure, many times it was fun to write down my experiences so I can reminisce in the joyful past memories in the future, but it was hard to get the ball rolling. The more I told myself to write more often, the more I’d do the opposite. I’m of the opinion that things shouldn’t be forced. You’ve got to let things run their natural course. But it’s also true that sometimes you might regret not forcing yourself to do what you’ve got to do. Going to the gym to workout or doing your job in a constant manner come to mind as good examples. There are several very interesting posts in the works though, which I’m sure you guys will love to read, so be on the lookout for them!

Anyway, not to bore you with details, but got most of my stuff prepared. I’m currently scanning all my documents so that I can have my papers at hand if and when needed, because I’ll be leaving most of my documents here in Spain, in the care of my father and he’ll leave it in the care of my good friend, I guess. Aside from the documents there are all my stuff that I need to get rid off too, like the printers, IT stuff, etc. I’ll be giving my height regulable desktop, office chair and other cool gadgets to my good friend who’s also into IT so that these items can be continued being given some use instead of throwing them in the dumpster or wasting my time selling them for a couple of euros.

Regarding the gym, this Wednesday I had a light sparring session with my coach and then a hard one with a contemporary gym mate. We started out slow and ended up banging it out. Even when I ended with a bloody nose, it was still very fun!

Aside from preparations I’ve got several other tasks laying around waiting to be taken care of, so I’ll update you guys once it’s done.

C ya!

Monday! Starting the week right by waking up on time and getting right onto the pending and routine tasks. Went to the gym and did some work on the laptop, so far so good.

The plan is to continue working until late at night, focus on getting work done and being productive. Gotta make some money already, can’t postpone this any further!

If I feel like it I might go for another round of training, perhaps cardio. Feeling kinda energized despite little sleep.

Without further ado; onwards with the day!

Weeks go flying by and I have yet to take of many tasks. Seems like getting the driving license before heading back to Armenia is out of the question, so I lost the 50โ‚ฌ bet I made with a friend. ๐Ÿ˜…

Anyho’, it has been two entertaining weeks nonetheless, having fun here and there with friends, playing padel, visiting Barcelona landmarks, parying, taking photos, training hard, etc. so it doesn’t feel much of a waste either. I could have woken up earlier though, one of my few regrets.

No point in sulking over it though, so I move on. Gotta take care of my work and company, and start hammering out the fixed price jobs and take on some work, cuz I’m going kinda broke over here. I should be going back to Armenia with some cash in my hand.

In regards to this fine sunny Sunday, gonna visit a friend for dinner and watching a movie. Nothing crazy, just a chill day of leaning back and taking it easy.

Happy Sunday everyone!
