An ad by Mercedes-Benz, depicting the story of 39-year-old Bertha Benz who on 5 August 1888 drove from Mannheim to Pforzheim with her sons Richard and Eugen, thirteen and fifteen years old respectively, in the Model III car, without telling her husband and without permission of the authorities. HUGE RED FLAG #1!

The ego on this female leading her to disobey her husband and the authorities just so she could become the first at doing something… imagine living with a female like that for a wife… TORTURE!

Anyways, in the ad her car breaks down at a village. In the ad it depicts the people of that time as backwards lowlifes bewildered and frightened at the sight of an (*sigh*…) “empowered wamen” driving a strange carriage without horses, calling her a witch and trying to poke at her, making fun of her every step of the way.

She gets help of a little girl who looks impressed by her looks and carriage, although at first frightened of the unknown carriage. She points her to a tavern where the chemist is having a drink. When she approaches him he (*SIGH*…) dismisses her after just a glance and a snarky remark. She insists and he ends up begrudgingly helping her.

They manage to get the car going. She hops on it and they ride off. While riding away Bertha turns around and shares a look with the kid who looks “inspired” and smiling, while the rest of the townsfolk look like filthy peasants in the background.

This scene went accompanied with the typical gynocentric BULLSHIT propagandistic lines of “She believed in more than a car. She believed in herself”…. 🤮🤮🤮

LinkedIn, for allowing this kind of BS propagandistic media to propagate and turn itself into another facebook-like SHITHOLE, can also GO FUCK THEMSELVES.
