This month I’m looking to write every day in the Five Minute Journal, and so far so good.

Again, woke up without any pain in my body. I just now also realized that I haven’t had any bags under my eyes. This chair is really doning wonders! Still, I’ve slept only 6 hours. I fell asleep way too late. My body was tired as hell and I wanted to just lay down in bed, but my mind had other plans. I was just hooked to the laptop. I really should impose my will on these basic things. Unnecessarily staying up late is hardly logical, so I should really do something about it.

Back to the present: went to buy groceries, washed my clothes, ate lunch, coffee in hand, and now in front of the laptop, ready to type the day away.

My mom will be arriving from Valencia too today. She plans on going to Russia the week after. Haven’t seen her since November, but it feels like yesterday.

What would make today great?

  1. Get lots of work done.
  2. Pick up mom from the bus station.
  3. Sleep on time (tired of repeating this all the time haha).

3 Amazing things that happened today…

  1. Didn’t get much work done. Ate too much, coffee didn’t have any effect, brain didn’t work.
  2. Picked mom from the bus station. Is nice to have her around.
  3. Slept relatively “on time”.

How could I have made today even better?

Shouldn’t have eaten so much. With all the blood going to the stomach instead of the brain I just couldn’t think at all. So not getting much done just piled upon my existing stress.
